What started as a personal desire for creative development turned into a collective platform of curiosities.
Jules Tingles originated in 2016 as the ‘hard-to-remember’ stage name of Julie Kennivé.
Julie started out with dance and costume design, but soon discovered she wanted more. Not only does she have a vision, she has a drive that can activate those around her. A force of nature that translates her crazy eccentric ideas into multiple art forms. It can be an exotic fire show, an elegant circus act, an eclectic dance duo with creepy opera sounds, Teatime theater or a random bizarre installation.
She brings people together and combines their talents to render every peculiar image in her beautiful weird brain.
Thanks to larger and tailor-made projects, Jules Tingles grew into something bigger. The name stayed but the concept expanded.Thanks to collaborations with multi-talented artists, the possibilities became endless.
Expect the unexpected, with a good dash of absurdity, a touch of awkwardness…
